Erzgebirge Freight Elevator systems operate by a microcomputer controlled geared traction machine and use the new generation of frequency inverter with vector control to provide a stable transfer by regulating the acceleration / deceleration, which reduces the need for maintenance on equipment, and extends the life time of the system. The over-speed protection features make the system safer and more reliable.

Erzgebirge Freight Elevator uses four guides in the guide rail system / two per side to improve the strength and steadiness during the on/off loading process.
